Kolade Rasheed Wins Mr. Universe Nigeria For 2017/2018.

It was glam in Lagos recently during the Mens Fashion Week Nigeria show, which also saw through the Mr. Universe Nigeria pageant that was sponsored by the prestigious Germaine Auto and Axe Nigeria respectively.

The pageant which had the best of celebrities from all sphere of the entertainment and fashion industry produced 6.1ft tall Banking and Finance Crawford University graduate, Kolade Adegoke Rasheed as the Mr. Universe Nigeria 2017/018.

Rasheed hails from Abeokuta in Ogun state and amongst 16 other young men, he emerged winner of the 2017 Mr. Universe Nigeria pageant.

At the event were Nollywood’s Richard Mofe Damijo, Juliet Ibrahim, fashion designer, Mai Atafo and Frank Oshodi. Others present were Vimbai Mutinhiri, Lamboghini, Jon Ogah, Soma, Ono Bello, Joan Okorodudu, Pela, Mueyiwa Omatsola, Francis Beacon, Marcus Pius, Kennedy Mgboji,  Tracy Ishmael, Ariya Ticket CEO and a host of others.

The show had representatives also from the international community who came to give support to their own. They included - Palse, Abbas Kajuika, Moshions, Quophi Akotuah, Abrantie the Gentleman,  (Int'l designers from South Africa, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana respectively); and Nigeria's renowned designers - Stave Ray, Chike Mordi.

There was performances by Nigeria’s DJ Teckzilla (Temi Oduntola, winner of the AXE ‘Find Your Magic’ DJ Search campaign) who performed his winning mixtape at the run way alongside other mixes, Linda Ikeji Music Artist, Val Obi and Pentagon Dance Company.

Others who came out tops were, 1st Runner-Up, Victor Inyang (Mr Unverse Tourism), 2nd runner up - Joel Okoye ( Mr Universe Culture) and 3rd runner up - Tejiri Oforbrukueta (Mr Universe Top Model).

The show was anchored by Nigeria’s scintillating presenter and MC, Denrele Edun.
