Alot
of my friends ask questions on why I am easily drawn to women, as I tend to
have more women as friends, scattered across the length and breadth of Nigeria,
with followership made up of people of like-minds and I am bold to explain to them
that my comfortability with associating with women dates back to relationship
spanning over years without fault, especially with woman who know their onions
in all sphere of human endevour and this very elegant lady is one of them.
I met
Otunba Yetunde Arobieke as a newly appointed Executive Secretary of Agboyi-Ketu
Local Development Area, one of the new Development Area Councils created by the
Governor Emeritus of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and we struck a
bond that saw us becoming more like Mother and Son, being that I was barely
fresh from Secondary School then and not minding my age, gave me audience as an
influential woman and I would mince no word in telling you that between when
she was an Executive Secretary till now, I have enjoyed such motherly
friendship/relationship that I wonder sometimes if really, my own biological
mother didn't steal me from her. Lol.
Bold
and Extremely INTELLIGENT.
Beautiful
and Extremely very BRILLIANT.
Humility
personified. Humane. Always Listening.
These
are some of the qualities that help my relationships with people, especially
women, last long and these are some of the qualities that endeared Chief Mrs.
Yetunde Arobieke to me the first time I met her and till today, these qualities
have not waned one bit.
An
achiever per excellence, who transformed the face of Agboyi-Ketu, a new
Developmental Area Council created and handed over to her to restart, reshape
and deliver as a finished product, which she did and there are huge testimonies
to allude to the fact that in Agboyi-Ketu today, her name had been printed on
the sand of time that even after years of being out of office, her relevance to
the people have not diminished one bit.
When
therefore I learnt of her desire to contest for the House of Representatives to
represent the people in my constituency, Kosofe Federal Constituency, I was
overjoyed because, succor has come for the people of Kosofe Federal
Constituency, who had been clamouring for quality representation at the federal
level.
YERO
2019 therefore is for "Proper, Able, Meaningful and Unique
Representation" in the National Assembly, to help galvanize the way and
manner discourse on issues are done, help push bills that would have direct
impact on the people, restore the already lost confidence of the people in
their representatives and meaningfully empower her constituents with programmes
and project for comprehensive self reliance.
Mrs.
Arobieke is bringing to the table, track record of grass-root politicking that
is incomparable, intelligence and boldness that would help her get answers to
requests for the development of Kosofe Federal Constituency, quality
reputation, and then, relationship with the people, which is actually what
matters more in the life of any politician.
Very
proud to be associated with a woman who not only keeps to her promises, but
also makes sure that her kept promises are satisfactory enough at all times.
