DSS SUES PAT UTOMI OVER "SHADOW GOVERNMENT" CLAIM.

Pat Utomi.

Bad times await one of Nigeria's economists and former Presidential candidate, Professor Pat Utomi over his recent claims that there is a shadow government in place in Nigeria as against the tenets of the Nigerian constitution.

Speaking on Arise News' "The Morning Show", the erodit Prof acknowledged the existence of a shadow government in place but without mentioning the names of those involved in such a government, claiming that it had been in existence since 2008, against the warning of the court. In view, the Department of State Services (DSS), sued Utomi over his plan to establish a "shadow government", alleging it poses threat to peace, security and good governance.

When asked by one of the anchors of the show, Dr. Reuben Abati if he was aware that the Department of State Services, otherwise known as the DSS has sued him over such claims, Professor Utomi affairmed, saying he had been in court over the matter like two or three times since the case was instituted.

Being an intellectual, one wonders why Professor Pat Utomi would allow a TV Show anchor to poke his brain the way Dr. Reuben Abati did, so much so that he had to talk about a case he publicly acknowledged is presently before a competent court.

His action on TV is an indication of an outright disrespect for the decisions of the court.
