The Depatrment of State Service (DSS), says she is taking legal actions against an online publishing platform, “Peoples Gazette” for a false publication involving her.
According to information available to "News PlatformNG", DSS say she would not succumb to such malicious publications, which had to do with recklessly throwing Agencies of government like the DSS under the bus for selfish motives.
It is high time that such unethical acts are dealt with, the DSS informed "News PlatformND".
You would recall that few days back, Peoples Gazette published a report alleging that the Group CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd, (NNPL), Bayo Ojulari was abducted by both the DSS and the EFCC, thereby heating the polity with falsehood over an incident that never occurred.
The online newspaper is accused of publishing a “libelous and unfounded” article that portrayed the agency as “an irresponsible and reckless organisation” and its leadership as a “hatchet man and a lackey” used to carry out political intimidation against anyone he doesn't like. It is this impression this legal action seeks to correct.
