No Shooting On Plot 504, PMAN Clarifies, Says One Suspect Sustained Minor Injury While Fleeing As Police Maintains Lawful Perimeter Protection.

Following misleading online claims, the Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria, PMAN clarifies that no person was shot on the Monaco/Plot 504 site. During a police-supported dispersal of an unlawful incursion, tear gas was deployed. In the ensuing flight, one individual (Yakubu Lawal Omaye) stumbled and sustained a minor knee injury. He is receiving care at the Muhammadu Buhari Police Hospital and, upon discharge, will face due process for alleged offences relating to the incident, including criminal trespass and assaulting a police officer. 

The site remains under lawful police perimeter protection to prevent unauthorised entry, sales, or removal of materials. PMAN appreciates the Nigeria Police Force for a measured, professional response.
