The Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Mrs Grace Adayilo has passed on.
Her death was confirmed Monday morning by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike during his regular monthly media briefing.
It was gathered that Adayilo passed away in the early hours of Monday.
Wike described her death as shocking, noting that she was very hard working.
"If I had gotten the information on the demise of the FCT head of Service, I would have put off this media chat", he said.
The Minister added that although the late Head of Service had reached her retirement period, it was extended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu owing to her dedication to duty.
Although details surrounding the ugly development are still sketchy at the moment, Wike hinted that it could be high blood pressure-related.
