Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has announced that there will be no celebration to mark his birthday, as he plans to spend the day like any other normal day.
The decision was made public on Wednesday in Ilorin through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye.
The statement explained that the governor has maintained this approach to his birthday since he became governor in 2019.
It added that Abdulrazaq has not approved any form of party or public activity to mark the occasion and has no plans to do so this year.
The statement also noted that the governor remains thankful to God for life, good health, and the many blessings he has received, even though he prefers to keep his birthday low-key without public attention or festivities.
