Abubakar Babasule is a visionary leader, accomplished entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for sustainable development in Doka/Gabasawa
Constituency of Kaduna State. A man driven by purpose and integrity, he
represents a new generation of leadership rooted in competence, courage, and

A former banker, who is now the Chief Executive
Officer of Abu-Amani Power Limited, a dynamic energy company and subsidiary of
Abu-Amani Group. Through his leadership in the power and energy sector,
Abubakar has contributed to economic growth, job creation, and infrastructure development,
demonstrating practical capacity to deliver real results.
With a strong background in business management,
strategic planning, and community engagement, he has built not just
enterprises but also opportunities for young people and local communities. His
experience in managing projects, creating employment, and driving innovation
uniquely positions him to bring competence and accountability into public
service.
Abubakar Babasule believes leadership is not about
promises but about performance, which is what he brings to the table for the
people of Doka/Gabasawa Constituency.
On the reason he wants to represent his people, he says, "Our constituency deserves bold, responsive, and effective representation. It
deserves a leader who understands the struggles of the people, who listens
attentively, and who has the capacity to influence policies that translate into
visible development, and I am contesting to restore confidence in leadership, to
amplify the voice of our people at the Kaduna State House of Assembly, and to
ensure that Doka/Gabasawa is not left behind in the development agenda of
Kaduna State, which is not just an ambition but a responsibility I owe my
people.
Abubakar Babasule’s developmental blueprint includes youth
empowerment, economic expansion, establishment of vocational and technical
training hubs to facilitate access to soft loans and startup funding, and partnership
with private sector investors to create jobs locally.
Education reform and human capital development improve school infrastructure and learning materials, promote digital learning and
innovation programs, and introduce scholarship and mentorship initiatives for
outstanding students.
Abubakar Babasule promises to provide accessible &
reliable healthcare for his constituents, strengthening primary healthcare
centers across the constituency, advocating for better staffing, equipment, and
medical outreach programs, and prioritizing maternal, child, and preventive
healthcare.
Furthermore, he promises infrastructure & rural development,
lobbying for improved road networks and drainage systems, expanding access to
electricity and clean water, and the promotion of rural electrification and
sustainable energy initiatives.
Other areas of focus for him would be security and community
stability, strengthening collaboration between traditional leaders, youth groups, and security agencies, and promoting community policing and peace-building
programs.
Nor forgetting transparent and accountable representation
with regular town hall meetings with constituents geared towards public
accountability reports on legislative performance and fair distribution and
monitoring of constituency projects, which would position Doka/Gabasawa state
constituency for global mapping and world placement in the scheme of things in
Nigeria.
Abubakar Babasule stands for progress with purpose,
development with impact, and leadership with integrity, and together with his
constituents, they will build a stronger economy that will empower the youth,
modernize the communities, and secure a brighter future for every family in
