Salihu Yakasai, a former media aide to Abdullahi Ganduje, has left the All Progressives Congress and moved to the African Democratic Congress.
He made this known on Monday through a post on his Facebook page, where he explained that the decision followed discussions with his family, close associates, and political allies.
He confirmed that he had already submitted his resignation from the APC and completed his registration with the ADC, marking the start of a new political path.
Yakasai also encouraged others who are interested in joining the ADC to register through the party’s platform, stating that new members would receive their membership details after signing up.
He expressed hope that the party would succeed in forming a government that would benefit Nigerians.
His latest move adds another twist to his political journey. In 2022, he left the APC to join the Peoples Redemption Party, where he contested as a governorship candidate in the 2023 election.
After that, he returned to the APC before his recent exit.
