The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has announced plans to appoint about 1000 new aides from across the 203 wards in the 18 local government areas of the State.
This was
after the Governor relieved all political aides of their duties with immediate
effect, in the ongoing drive to enhance efficiency and deepen service delivery.
The Chief
Press Secretary the the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan in a statement on Monday
said, those affected are Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants to
the Governor.
According
to him, the Governor thanked then for their contributions to the development of
the state these far and wished them well in their future endeavors.
Meanwhile,
in a step to strengthen coordination and inject fresh capacity into the
administration, about 1000 new aides from across the 203 wards in the 18 local
government areas in the state woukd be appointed by the Governor in due course.
