According to the Governor of Edo State, Governor Monday Okpebholo, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, now a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Mr. Peter Obi is the reason his state, Edo, doesn't have electricity because Fidelity Bank, where Peter Obi has a majority share, invested in the power distribution company that supplies power in Edo.
The Governor said this during a protest by indigenes
of his who had to protest poor power supply or it’s non existence of any and
the number one citizen of the state had to join in solidarity with his people; therefore, he used the opportunity to pass the blame of lack of power supply to his
number one political enemy, Peter Oni.
