Tinubu Makes Five New Appointments.

President Bola Tinubu has named Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari as his new Special Adviser on Political Affairs.

Masari, who previously served as Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs since 2023, has a long history in politics, including a tenure as welfare secretary for the All Progressives Congress (APC) during Senator Adams Oshiomhole’s leadership.

He will join Alhaji Yau Darazo, who has held the same advisory position since July 2023.

In another development, President Tinubu has approved four new appointments for Permanent Secretary positions in the Federal Civil Service. The new appointees are Mrs. Warrens Augusta from Bayelsa, Mrs. Jones-Nebo Bella from Enugu, Mr. Aminu Yargaya from Kano, and Mr. Shoretire Kamil from Ogun.

The appointments followed a detailed selection process aimed at ensuring professionalism and competence in the civil service.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, welcomed the appointees and praised the administration for promoting merit and professionalism in government service.

She noted that these additions are intended to strengthen public service delivery and support national development goals.
