Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has responded sharply to people asking her to return donations they gave.
During a live video, she told her critics that support came freely and that no one was forced to give.
Blessing explained that the donations were offered voluntarily by fans who wanted to help her during a hard time.
She noted that many of the people accusing her of scamming had never actually given her money.
She said she only asked for help publicly and people responded out of love and willingness.
The media personality said she does not owe anyone proof or receipts for the money received.
She stressed that the contributions were given without pressure and that donors should not demand returns if they gave out of their own choice.
Blessing also spoke about her long presence on social media, noting that her ten years online have built trust and loyalty among followers.
She added that her personal brand allows her to receive support easily and that her influence comes from her consistent work and engagement with her audience.
She ended by saying her supporters continue to support her because of the brand she has built, and she challenged critics to build their own credibility if they want similar results.
