Rapper Dremo, a Nigerian rapper and songwriter who was previously signed to DMW, opened up during a recent podcast with Echooroom about his experience with his former record label.
When asked if he planned to sign with any label, he said, “I don’t feel like signing anything right now. I just feel like they will just give you money to hold you down.”
Asked if that was his experience with DMW, he explained, “They didn’t give me money. It was all work and more like a platform.”
On whether he got what he expected from the label, he admitted, “Of course not.”
