As reported earlier by “News PlatformNG”, a former Nigerian international striker, Michael Eneramo has tragically passed away after collapsing during a local friendly match in Ungwan Yelwa, Kaduna, on Friday morning.
The Ex
Super Eagles forward had reportedly completed the entire first half and
returned for the second half before suddenly going down just five minutes after
the restart.
Early
reports indicate he may have suffered a cardiac arrest during the game as he
was immediately attended to and efforts were made to save his life, but he was
later confirmed dead.
Eneramo,
who was born on November 26, 1985, in Kaduna, was widely known for his time
with the Nigerian national team and for his contributions to club football
during his career.
His
passing has sent shockwaves through the football community, with tributes
expected from fans, former teammates, and the wider sporting world.
