The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has published the results of candidates who took part in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on Monday, April 20.
The update was made available on Tuesday, with the board asking candidates to check their scores through its approved channels.
According to a statement from the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the results for that day have been processed and released.
Candidates were informed that they can now access their performance using the usual result-checking method provided by JAMB.
To view their results, candidates are expected to send the word “UTMERESULT” as an SMS to either 55019 or 66019.
This must be done using the same phone number that was used during registration for the examination.
This release is part of the ongoing daily publication of results since the 2026 UTME began on April 16. JAMB has been releasing the results in stages, depending on the examination dates of candidates across different centres in the country.
Earlier batches included those who wrote the exam on Thursday, followed by combined results for Friday and Saturday.
The board had also experienced a delay in releasing one of the batches, which led to concern among candidates, but it later completed the release and continued with the schedule for subsequent days.
The UTME exercise involves more than two million candidates who are taking the computer-based test across various approved centres nationwide, with results being processed and released day by day.
