Former ADC National Chairman Ralph Nwosu was made to apologize to Channels TV anchor during a live interview. A mild drama played out on Channels TV this morning, April 9, after former chairman of the African Democratic Congress ADC, Ralph Nwosu, was made to apologize to Channels TV's Kayode Okikiolu.
It all
started when Kayode had taken on Nwosu over his claims that he was offered
three ministerial slots to ensure that the coalition didn't see the light of
day. Recall that the coalition groups adopted the ADC in July 2025 with the
view of fielding a candidate that will unseat President Bola Tinubu during the
2027 general election. Nwosu had, at the time, claimed that some persons
approached him to ensure the party doesn't adopt the coalition group.
While on
Channels TV this morning, he was asked to mention the name or names of those
that made the ministerial offer to him. He refused to. He then accused Kayode
of being sent by someone to ask him that particular question. He claimed Kayode
had received a text message from a person to put him on the spot.
It was at this point he was made to apologise as he
was unable to substantiate his claim against the TV anchor.
