You're A Blackmailer, You Love Lies And Deceit - Daniel Bwala Blasts Rufai Oseni.

Daniel Bwala, a presidential aide, has taken a swipe at Arise TV anchor Rufai Oseni over his recent media engagements outside Nigeria.

Bwala said that appearing on television or gaining attention in the media does not automatically make a person a trained journalist.

Bwala stated that some media figures are known more for controversy, insults, and claims of blackmail rather than professional reporting. He made this comment while reacting to Oseni’s activities during his media tour abroad.

He also said that visiting media organisations in other countries does not change how a person is viewed in the journalism space. According to him, such trips do not improve credibility or redefine a person’s role in the media industry.

The presidential aide further questioned Oseni’s meetings with Nigerians in the diaspora. He claimed that some of the gatherings were linked to supporters of Peter Obi, popularly known as Obidients, and suggested that such groups should be properly identified instead of being described in general terms.

Bwala maintained that Oseni’s international media appearances and engagements do not change his assessment of him in the media field.

He wrote on 𝕏: "No, media personality doesn’t mean you are a journalist. On-air-personality in the media who trade in blackmail and insults would always attract attention; dont deceive yourself.

"Also taking a tour of a media outfit abroad doesn’t make you a journalist either. You still remain a blackmailer.

"Meeting with Obidients in Europe and plotting 2027 for Peter Obi doesn’t make the meeting “Nigerians in Diaspora just because they are also Nigerians; simply call them for who they are “Obidient” You just love lies and deceit."
