Ooni Of Ife’s Ojaja Mall, A Complete Deviation From The Norm Of Recreation Services & Royalty In Lagos.

During the last week, journalists were taken on a tour of one of the most prestigious event and recreation centres in Lagos, owned by the very eminent Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi CFR, Ojaja Mall, a multi-purpose commercial and lifestyle complex.

Ojaja Mall, located along the Abraham Adesanya corridor, the expansive facility—commissioned in November 2025—sits on approximately 18,000 square metres of land and houses nearly 300 retail outlets, alongside a range of hospitality and entertainment offerings.

Ojaja Mall features a mixture of businesses, which includes gyms, salons, eateries, and professional offices and the one called Ojaja More Supermarket, which promotes made in Nigeria products with attractions such as cinema with viewing multiple halls a gaming arcade with Ojaja Suites, a hospitality facility furnished largely with locally produced materials, furniture, beddings, etc.

In addition to the complex, the Ojaja Mall hosts Ojaja Cola & Orange, a beverage manufacturing company introduced as part of the monarch’s expanding business portfolio, with on-site showroom and storage facilities to support distribution and Ojaja water which is in the offing.

Speaking during the tour, Princess Bimpe Ogunwusi who oversees the facility said the mall is fully operational and designed to function as a hub for commerce, culture, and community engagement. 

The facility according to her also includes a children’s park, bar and lounge, and office spaces, including a private suite for the monarch.

She went further to highlight the commitment to maintaining high standards in service delivery, security, and infrastructure. The complex is supported by dedicated power systems, including industrial generators and inverters, ensuring uninterrupted operations for businesses and visitors with estimates suggesting it has generated between 500 and 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, saying that stakeholders project a reflection of a broader vision of leveraging investment to drive economic growth while promoting local industry. 

Located just 20 minutes from Victoria Island, through the new coastal road, Ojaja Mall is truly a shopping centre with a huge difference from the ones that had been in operation for ages, fashionable, stylish, impressive and one of the best place to shop for everything household.
