All You Do Is Criticize Tinubu, You Don't Have A Single Solution - Dayo Amusa Slams Peter Obi.

Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has criticised former presidential candidate Peter Obi over his recent interview, arguing that political leaders must clearly explain both their policies and how they intend to implement them.

Amusa shared her reaction on social media following Obi’s interview with broadcaster Rufai Oseni, where the former Anambra State governor was reportedly cautious about providing detailed implementation plans for some of his policy proposals.

Reacting to the interview, Amusa said it was not enough for aspiring leaders to criticise government policies without offering practical and actionable solutions.

According to her, voters deserve full clarity from anyone seeking public office, including detailed explanations of how campaign promises would be achieved.

“A leader should be able to answer how and what they can do differently,” she wrote on X. “You can’t criticise all government policies and not give solutions to them.”

She further suggested that political transparency should extend beyond general promises, adding that Nigerians have the right to understand the specifics of any candidate’s plans.

“It’s very obvious you don’t want people to vote you, that is why you want to keep your plans to your chest. It’s not a secret affair, we want to know what you’re going to do differently,” she added, describing the interview as “not inspiring.”

Obi, who ran in the last presidential election under the platform of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, has frequently faced similar questions about policy specifics and implementation strategies during public interviews.
