Abiodun Folashade Tokunbo, the wife of Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has shared insights into why she prefers to keep her marriage away from public attention.
Tokunbo made the revelation in a post on Instagram, where she reflected on her personal journey with her husband and emphasised the importance of privacy in her life.
According to her, maintaining discretion in personal matters has been key to her peace of mind.
“This right time to fly together. Privacy is peace to me,” she wrote, alongside a message expressing gratitude despite challenges.
She also shared a photograph documenting her journey with her husband over the years, adding: “Before and After. Aanu Ni! Oju ri! But Anu speaks.”
The fashion entrepreneur, who is the CEO of Lagos-based fashion house Anjy Luminee Couture (also known as House of Luminee), reiterated her belief that keeping personal affairs private helps preserve emotional stability.
Her comments come shortly after Baba Ijesha announced that the couple had welcomed a baby boy. The actor expressed gratitude to his wife, describing her affectionately in a social media post while introducing their son, named “King Kagar Omiyinka.”
Tokunbo also stated that the newborn is their first child together after 12 years, though details about the timeline of their relationship remain unverified.
She hails from Ijesha Isu in Ekiti State and is the sixth daughter in a family of eight children.
