Armed bandits have reportedly abducted a woman and her toddler in the Ijalu area of Egbe, located in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State. The attack occurred along the Solid Rock School axis on Wednesday evening, June 3, 2026.



The victims have been identified as Mrs. Idowu Kemi Titilayo and her young child. While sources within the community have confirmed the incident, the exact number of people kidnapped during the attack remains unclear.

Residents of the community are appealing to security agencies to intensify efforts to ensure the safe release of the victims.
