Beautiful Female Lawyer Dies While Celebrating Ghana's Victory Over Panama.

A 26-year-old legal practitioner, Sara Araba Tettey, has reportedly died after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest while celebrating Ghana’s victory over Panama in a FIFA World Cup match.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at Standard Hostel, a private student residence in Bomso near the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology) campus, where she was watching the match with friends.

According to eyewitness accounts, Tettey collapsed shortly after the final whistle as celebrations broke out following Ghana’s win. Friends and other residents at the hostel immediately rushed her to the KNUST Hospital for emergency treatment.

Medical personnel reportedly performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for about 45 minutes in an attempt to revive her, but she was later pronounced dead.

Tettey, who was called to the Ghana Bar earlier in 2026, was working with O & A Legal Consult. Colleagues and friends described her as a promising young lawyer known for her dedication, intelligence, and compassion.

She had recently graduated from the Faculty of Law at KNUST and was widely regarded as an emerging talent in Ghana’s legal profession.

Her body has been deposited at the hospital mortuary, pending autopsy and funeral arrangements.
