The family of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has confirmed the abduction of his younger sister, Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, and her twin sons in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the family disclosed that Mrs. John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, were kidnapped by armed g¥nmen around 7:30 a.m. while she was taking the children to school.

While expressing deep concern over the incident, Chief Adelabu and other family members said they remain hopeful that security agencies will successfully rescue the victims unharmed.
The family also appealed to the public to remain calm, avoid spreading unverified information, and support ongoing investigations by providing any useful information through the appropriate channels.
They pledged continued cooperation with security agencies and assured the public that further updates would be communicated as developments emerge.
