Kwankwaso Meets Peter Obi In Abuja.

Former Kano State Governor and vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has disclosed details of his private meeting with the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Abuja.

The meeting took place on Friday at Kwankwaso’s residence in the Federal Capital Territory. According to the former governor, the discussion focused on issues affecting the party as well as matters concerning the country.

In a message shared on his social media page on Saturday, Kwankwaso said he welcomed Obi back to Nigeria after the former Anambra State governor’s recent international trip.

He described the engagement as fruitful, noting that both leaders exchanged views on important political and national concerns.

Kwankwaso stated that the NDC remains united despite differing opinions among members. He said leaders within the party have a duty to show understanding, patience and commitment in pursuing their common objectives.

He maintained that political leaders must be ready to make sacrifices and work through disagreements for the benefit of the party and the country.

The former governor also expressed confidence in the party’s direction, saying its leaders remain committed to working together toward improving Nigeria’s future.

The meeting comes amid growing public interest in the activities of opposition political figures ahead of future political developments in the country.

Both Kwankwaso and Obi are among the prominent faces of the NDC and have continued to play key roles in shaping discussions within the party.

Their latest engagement is expected to fuel further conversations about the party’s plans and efforts to strengthen its position on national issues.
