The Managing Director of the North Central Development Commission, NCDC, Dr. Cyril Tsenyil, has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering on the core objectives of the commission in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Dr.
Tsenyil, who described the establishment of the NCDC as a strategic
intervention for the North Central region, said the commission under his
leadership is focused on deriving tangible economic value for the people
through targeted projects, infrastructure renewal, and human capital
development.
“Our
mandate is clear to drive sustainable development across the North
Central states. We are aligning every program and policy with Mr. President’s
Renewed Hope Agenda to ensure that the impact of this newly created commission
is felt in agriculture, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and security,” Dr.
Tsenyil stated.
He noted
that the NCDC is prioritizing partnerships with state governments, development
agencies, and the private sector to unlock the economic potential of the region
and fast-track regional integration.
According
to him, the commission will not be a bureaucratic entity but a results-driven
institution committed to transparency, accountability, and measurable impact.
