The Abia International Film Festival (ABIFF) is delighted to announce the appointment of Amb. Sam Uche Anyamele, Ph.D., FTA as our Director of Operations (Chief Operating Officer – COO).
An
illustrious son of Abia State and a Lagos-based creative powerhouse, Amb. Sam
Uche Anyamele brings decades of experience to the ABIFF leadership team. With
an outstanding portfolio of over 200 stage and screen productions as a cast and
crew member, he is a respected actor, director, producer, voice-over
professional, filmmaker, instrumentalist, facilitator, mentor, and master
compere.
A multiple
award-winning and multilingual performing artist, he is an active member of
several professional associations within the creative, arts, and entertainment
industry. He is also a Youth and Cultural Ambassador, an alumnus of the
University of Lagos, and serves as an Adjunct Lecturer, Facilitator, and
Examination Invigilator at institutions including Pan-Atlantic University
(SMC-PAU) and the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
His wealth
of experience, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the growth of
the creative industry will play a vital role in taking ABIFF to greater heights
as we continue to position Abia State as a leading hub for film, culture, and
creativity.
