Veteran Nollywood Actor, Ngozi Nwosu Gets Governor Alex Otti’s Support, PMAN Says Thank You.

The Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria, PMAN, through the office of the National President, Dr. Pretty Okafor has sent an appreciation message to the Governor of Abia State, Mr. Alex Otti for his prompt responses to the cry for help by Nollywood stars and musicians who had had cause to seek financial assistance for their health challenges in recent times.

According to a statement from the office of Pretty Okafor, “On behalf of the entire creative community under the umbrella of the Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN), I write with a heart full of gratitude to celebrate a leader whose compassion has become the standard for governance in our time. His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, executive governor of Abia State, has shown Nigerians and the world what it means to lead with both vision and heart, especially for the entertainment industry.

Whenever PMAN reaches out to His Excellency through his Senior Special Adviser on Tourism and Entertainment, Hon. Dr. Justice Martins Aka, J. Martins, His Excellency has never disappointed. He has answered not with promises but with action.

Pretty Okafor went further to say, “We recall with deep appreciation His Excellency’s intervention of ₦20,000,000 to support legendary highlife icon 'Daddy Fresh' during his critical battle with liver, kidney, and eye complications.

Another ₦20,000,000 to rescue veteran Nollywood actor “Sunny McDon," our brother from Abia State, in his fight against prostate cancer.

And once again, His Excellency has answered our call for urgent support to save veteran Nollywood actor “Ngozi Nwosu”, who is currently facing a health relapse.

The PMAN National President says that in a time when many turn away, Governor Alex Otti has chosen to stand with the men and women who built Nigeria’s creative identity. He has proven that leadership is not just about infrastructure and policy but about humanity, about saving lives, preserving legacies, and honoring those who gave their talent to make Nigeria proud.
