Nollywood actress Regina Chukwu has sparked reactions online after she was reportedly stopped by bouncers while attending the thanksgiving ceremony for actor Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Mo Bimpe, following the arrival of their triplets. The couple welcomed three boys in May 2026.
Chukwu, who was among the early guests at the event, attended the ceremony alongside fellow actress Victoria Adeboye.
Both actresses were dressed in the event’s blue asoebi when they arrived at the venue.
However, a viral video from the event showed the actresses being stopped at the entrance by two bouncers.
In the footage, Chukwu could be seen engaging one of the security personnel in a conversation, apparently trying to explain her presence, while Victoria stood behind her.
The reason the actress was stopped from entering the venue was not immediately clear.
The incident has since generated reactions among social media users, with many expressing surprise that a well-known Nollywood personality could be denied entry at the event.
Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe had earlier announced the arrival of their triplet sons after keeping their family life away from the public eye for some time. The couple, who married in December 2021, described the birth of their three boys as a major blessing.
