Liverpool Close In On £120m Bradley Barcola Transfer As Salah Replacement.

Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain to sign France international Bradley Barcola in a deal worth up to £120 million.

The proposed transfer package is understood to include more than £100 million in guaranteed payments, with performance-related add-ons potentially taking the total value of the deal to around £120 million.

The Reds reportedly made a breakthrough in negotiations with the European champions overnight after weeks of talks aimed at reducing PSG's initial asking price of £145 million.

Barcola, 23, has been identified as Liverpool's top target for several months as the club seek a replacement for Mohamed Salah following his reported move to Trabzonspor.

Liverpool had previously pursued Yan Diomande, but their bid for the player was rejected before he eventually joined Real Madrid.

The negotiations for Barcola have reportedly been led by Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes and Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon.

Barcola joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 and has enjoyed a successful spell in the French capital. He has made 152 appearances for the club, scoring 39 goals and providing 37 assists.

During his time at PSG, the French international has won several major honours, including three league titles, two Champions League trophies and two French Cups.

If the transfer is completed, Barcola would become Liverpool's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Jeremy Jacquet, Victor Munoz and Ronald Araujo.
