Nigerian streamer and content creator, Peller, has revealed that many of the dollar notes sprayed on him during his wedding ceremony were fake after he took them to a bank for exchange.
Peller, who recently got married to his partner Jarvis, disclosed this during a livestream where he shared his disappointment over the discovery.
He explained that after the wedding celebration, he visited a bank to change the dollars he received but was shocked to learn that a large number of the notes were counterfeit.
The content creator said some guests gave him genuine money, while others sprayed fake dollar bills during the ceremony. He added that he could identify those who presented him with real cash.
Peller said he was unhappy that some of the money he proudly displayed after his wedding later turned out to be fake. He also questioned the reason behind spraying money at events if people would use counterfeit notes instead of genuine gifts.
He noted that the experience left him disappointed, especially because the fake dollars came from a ceremony where many people gathered to celebrate with him.
