The Nigeria Police Force has declared two men, Ajibola Obateru and Folawiyo Balogun Alagbado, wanted over an alleged murder and conspiracy case in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State.
The declaration was made through a Special Police Gazette Bulletin issued under the authority of the Inspector-General of Police. The notice was released through the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, at Panti-Yaba, Lagos.
According to the police, the suspects are wanted over the alleged attack and killing of a woman in the Ikoyi area. The police said the victim’s body and personal belongings were later taken away after the incident.
Obateru, 33, was accused of working with other persons to attack the woman, leading to her death. The police also alleged that he and his accomplices took away her body and belongings.
The suspect was described as a Yoruba male, about 5.9 feet tall and thinly built. Police said he has an oval face, long nose, small mouth, thin lips, black eyes, fair complexion and a pointed chin. His last known address was listed as Ibadan, Oyo State.
Alagbado, 32, was also declared wanted over the same case. Police alleged that he acted with others in attacking the woman, who was later killed, while her body was moved to an unknown location.
The police further alleged that the victim’s belongings were taken by Alagbado and other persons linked to the incident.
Alagbado was described as a Yoruba male of average height, with an oval face, wide nose, long and wide mouth, medium lips, dark complexion and round chin. His last known address was also recorded as Ibadan, Oyo State.
The police appealed to anyone with useful information about the suspects’ whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or the SCID office on Musiliu Smith Street, Panti-Yaba, Lagos.
The police also provided 08038843816 as a contact number for information that could help investigators locate the two men.
The allegations against the suspects remain claims at this stage, as neither man has been convicted by a court.
