The legal demand was contained in a letter dated August 15, 2026, from Olaniwun Ajayi LP, acting on behalf of Hilda Baci.
According to the letter, the law firm accused Seyi Vibez of publishing allegedly defamatory, malicious and false statements about its client on X.
The lawyers referenced two posts made by the singer on August 14, including one containing an allegation about Hilda Baci's body and artists' catalogue money.
Another post allegedly claimed that eating food prepared by the celebrity chef had nearly harmed him and included an allegation relating to spiritual manipulation.
According to Hilda Baci's legal representatives, the two posts generated significant engagement, attracting a combined estimated 4.3 million views, 7,100 reposts, 3,000 comments and 45,000 likes.
The lawyers said the posts resulted in harassment and abusive messages being directed at their client, causing what they described as reputational damage and emotional distress.
They subsequently demanded that Seyi Vibez permanently delete the posts and issue a public apology and retraction across his social media platforms.
The singer was also asked to call on his followers to stop any harassment directed at Hilda Baci.
In addition, the lawyers reportedly gave him three days to provide a written undertaking that he would not repeat or circulate similar allegations, warning that failure to comply could result in further legal action.
Seyi Vibez has since removed the posts from his social media account.
