Speaking in an interview with Lucky Udu, Sowore identified the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation as institutions he believes are largely responsible for corruption in the country.
He alleged that multiple payments are made to contractors within some government offices and argued that the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) could help detect such irregularities and reduce waste in public spending.
"If someone is trying to pay one contractor three times, the AI will detect it," Sowore said.
He added that the introduction of AI-driven systems would significantly reduce the need for the existing structures of the Ministry of Finance, the Office of the Auditor General and the Office of the Accountant General, which he claimed are "largely responsible for corruption" in Nigeria.
Outlining his vision for government, Sowore said his administration would prioritise technology and innovation, with a focus on the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
"The presidency of Sowore is going to be about technology. It is going to be built on the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is a revolution around artificial intelligence, the power of computing, blockchain technology and decentralised banking," he said.
Sowore also predicted that digital currencies would become more widely adopted globally, arguing that this trend would eventually render traditional central banking systems obsolete.
