KayCee Luxury was reportedly arrested in connection with an alleged international drug trafficking ring involving the seizure of 184.5 kilograms of cocaine valued at an estimated ₦39 billion.
Following news of his arrest, several celebrities and high-profile individuals reportedly began distancing themselves from the embattled businessman, with some claiming they did not have any personal relationship with him.
Reacting to the development in a post on Instagram, Bobrisky condemned the sudden change in attitude, describing those who previously associated with KayCee Luxury but are now denying him as hypocritical.
According to Bobrisky, many of those now speaking negatively about the luxury businessman, particularly some of his male associates, had previously been eager to be seen with him before his legal troubles.
“Fear human beings, especially men! If you think men don't secretly envy each other, then you are lying to yourself,” Bobrisky wrote.
The socialite clarified that he did not personally know KayCee Luxury but said he was shocked by how quickly people who had previously associated with him publicly distanced themselves following his arrest.
Bobrisky described the reaction as a reflection of how quickly friendships and public associations can change when an individual faces serious allegations or legal trouble.
