The 50-year-old former world number one was arrested on March 27 after his SUV reportedly overturned while he was attempting to overtake a truck and trailer at high speed in Jupiter Island, Florida.
Police allegedly found two opioid painkillers in Woods' pocket following the crash. He was subsequently charged with driving under the influence, property damage and refusing to submit to a lawful test.
Nearly five months after the incident, Woods is now expected to make his first appearance in court after the hearing was reportedly postponed several times as prosecutors continued their investigation.
The 15-time major champion will be represented by attorney Douglas Duncan. Woods has waived his arraignment and requested a jury trial in the case.
His most recent hearing took place on August 4, following an earlier court ruling that granted prosecutors access to hospital records linked to the treatment he received after the crash.
Martin County Circuit Court Judge Darren Steele approved an agreement between the State Attorney's Office and Woods' legal team, allowing prosecutors to request medical records from the hospital where the golf star was treated.
In May, the court also approved a similar agreement granting prosecutors access to Woods' prescription medication records from his Palm Beach pharmacy covering the period between January 1 and the date of the March crash.
However, prosecutors and Woods' legal team agreed to a protective order restricting access to the hospital and prescription records to the State Attorney's Office, law enforcement agencies, state experts and the defence.
The latest development comes as Woods had reportedly been preparing for a return to professional golf and was widely expected to compete at The Masters before the crash.
