AC Milan Prepare New Contract Offer For Samuel Chukwueze After Impressive Start.

AC Milan are reportedly preparing to offer Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze a contract extension following his impressive start to the 2026/27 Serie A season.

The 27-year-old has started all three of Milan’s opening league fixtures, providing two assists as he continues to establish himself in the club’s starting line-up.

Chukwueze’s current contract with the seven-time European champions runs until June 2028. However, transfer journalist Nicolò Schira reports that Milan officials are ready to begin formal negotiations over an extension.

The Nigeria international returned to San Siro ahead of the current campaign after spending the 2025/26 season on loan at Premier League side Fulham.

Chukwueze joined Milan from Spanish club Villarreal in the summer of 2023 and has since been working to secure a regular role in the Italian side.

His strong start to the new campaign appears to have strengthened his position at the club, with Milan now considering extending his stay beyond his current contract.
