Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury Set For December 11 Heavyweight Showdown In Cardiff.

 

The long-awaited all-British heavyweight showdown between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury has been scheduled for December 11 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.The highly anticipated bout is expected to take place in the early hours of Saturday in the UK, with organisers considering a late start to accommodate television audiences in the United States.

According to BBC Sport, Joshua and Fury will come face-to-face at a press conference on September 30 as the official build-up to the fight begins.

The event is being promoted through a collaboration between Saudi boxing power broker Turki Alalshikh’s The Ring and UFC president Dana White.

Alalshikh described the contest as a historic heavyweight clash.

“Two of the best heavyweights of this generation, finally in the ring together,” he said.

“This will be one of the biggest fights in boxing history. I am very happy to make this fight happen for the fans.”
