Army Declares ‘Gentle The Yahoo’ Wanted, Offers N30m Reward For Arrest.

 

The Nigerian Army, under Operation Udoka, has declared Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, popularly known as “Gentle The Yahoo”, wanted and offered a N30 million reward for credible information leading to his arrest.

The Joint Task Force South-East announced the development in a wanted notice, describing Okorienta as a suspected threat to peace and security in the region.

The military urged members of the public to provide any credible information that could assist security agencies in locating and apprehending him.

According to the notice, anyone whose information leads to the suspect’s capture will receive a N30 million reward.

The task force also called on residents to support ongoing efforts to tackle violence and other forms of criminality in the South-East, stressing the need for collective action to maintain peace.

“Give Peace a Chance,” the military said.

Members of the public with relevant information have been advised to contact the security authorities through 193 or 0806 795 9570.

The Army assured that information provided could be submitted anonymously.
