A 45-year-old domestic worker, identified as Mbango Émilienne Mbenga, was reportedly mauled to death by five dogs at her employer’s residence in Edéa, Sanaga-Maritime Division, Littoral Region, on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
According
to reports available to “News PlatformNG”, the victim had just
entered the residence when the dogs attacked her.
She was said
to have reportedly been overwhelmed by the animals and died from the injuries she
sustained in the attack.
Reports say
the dogs were subsequently killed.
The
victim, who was a mother, is said to have been working as a domestic worker at
the residence of Professor Stéphane Ngwanza, Vice-Rector of the University of
Yaoundé I.
