Enugu Man Allegedly Kills Woman, Gives Conflicting Account Of Her Death.

 

A man identified as Abobby has been accused of killing a woman in Enugu State after residents reportedly found her body in the bathroom of his home.

A video circulating online shows the moment some residents confronted the man after discovering the deceased in the bathroom.

During questioning, the suspect reportedly gave conflicting explanations about the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.

In one account, he claimed that the woman had threatened to infect him with HIV.

He also alleged that the woman attacked him with a stick while he was sleeping and that he woke up and believed she was trying to kill him.

When asked why the woman died, the man reportedly claimed that HIV was responsible for her death rather than him.

The explanation angered those questioning him, who pointed out that HIV does not ordinarily cause a person to die suddenly.
