Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Daniel Olatunji, popularly known as Danboskid, has disclosed that he is trying to rebuild his life after facing personal and financial difficulties.
Danboskid made this known in a video shared on Wednesday, where he opened up about his current situation and his plans for the future.
The reality television star revealed that he had returned to his family home and was currently staying in his sister’s room as he worked towards becoming independent again.
According to him, he has several plans aimed at improving his situation, including producing a movie, developing an accessories business and taking up driving work through Uber.
Danboskid said he was not asking people to feel sorry for him but needed guidance, encouragement and support as he tried to make progress.
He explained that he had been thinking about how to change his present circumstances and was determined to find a way forward despite the challenges around him.
The former housemate also disclosed that his family was going through a difficult period. However, he said the situation had not reached the point where they were unable to feed, describing their major challenge as being more mental and emotional.
Danboskid further revealed that he had thought about selling his laptop to raise money but eventually decided against the idea because he considered the device important to his plans of rebuilding his career.
He said one of his biggest ambitions was to move into filmmaking and establish himself as both a producer and a leading actor. He disclosed that he already had a script and was working towards turning the project into a movie.
The reality star admitted that he was still unsure about how to raise the resources needed to execute the project but said he remained committed to pursuing the plan.
Apart from filmmaking, Danboskid said he was also preparing to launch an accessories brand. He noted that he had knowledge of selecting accessories and planned to use his business platform to attract customers and generate income.
He also disclosed plans to begin driving for Uber as part of his efforts to earn money while working on his other businesses. According to him, he was considering using vehicles belonging to owners who were no longer interested in driving them.
Danboskid said his immediate priorities included securing his own accommodation, restoring his career, supporting his family and becoming financially stable.
The reality star also spoke about the effect of his public image on his opportunities. He said he wanted to move beyond the identity people had formed about him online and allow them to see other sides of his personality and abilities.
He said his present circumstances would not stop him from making changes and pursuing his ambitions.
Danboskid featured in the 2025 edition of Big Brother Naija but spent only 12 days in the house after becoming the first contestant to leave the season.
He was evicted during the first live eviction show after recording the lowest percentage of votes among the nominated housemates.
The Ekiti-born entrepreneur, actor and model was listed by the organisers as having been born on April 8, 2000.
After his eviction, Danboskid had linked his early departure from the reality show to a change in his name while he was in the house. He said the change affected how easily viewers could identify him and may have reduced the support he received during the voting period.
Now outside the reality show, the former housemate is looking to rebuild his career through entertainment, business and other income-generating activities as he works towards becoming independent and supporting his family.
