Kazomo reportedly died on Sunday, September 27, 2026, after falling ill on Thursday.
The news of his death was announced on Facebook by a user identified as Bramz BZ, prompting an outpouring of grief and condolences.
In a post announcing the death, Bramz BZ said Kazomo had been married for only two weeks before his death.
“It’s with deep sorrow that we regret to announce the untimely passing of George Kazomo, who sadly passed away today, 27th September 2026, after falling ill on Thursday,” he wrote.
He added that the funeral was being held at 23 Mwambashi Street, while burial arrangements and further updates would be communicated by the family.
The circumstances surrounding Kazomo’s illness and death were not disclosed in the announcement.
His death has left family members, friends and well-wishers mourning the loss of the newlywed.
