In a video circulating on social media, Onyeanyusi said his daily routine involved leaving home early for his shop and business and returning late at night, which he claimed meant he had no knowledge of what was allegedly taking place in the home.
He said he only became aware of the allegations after a friend showed him a video that had gone viral on social media.
According to him, he initially confronted his wife about the footage, but she denied the allegations and claimed that the video had been generated using artificial intelligence.
Onyeanyusi said his wife later admitted to using their daughters to produce the content.
Recounting his reaction, he said: “I asked her, did you really do this thing? And she said, ‘Yes’. I felt weak and tired. How come this kind of thing can happen? How can you do this kind of thing? I was asking, what is this? What has happened to me?
“I am totally disappointed in my wife. I never believed she could do such a thing, even to her own daughter.”
The allegations against the woman remain under investigation, while authorities are expected to establish the full circumstances surrounding the case and determine whether other individuals were involved.
