Natasha Osawaru Vows to Become Nigerian President In Grandfather’s Lifetime.

 

Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru has made a bold political pledge, promising her grandfather, billionaire patriarch and the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, that she will become the President of Nigeria in his lifetime.

Natasha made the declaration on Sunday, September 13, during a speech celebrating Chief Igbinedion’s 92nd birthday.

Addressing the veteran business mogul, she expressed deep affection, remarking that he grows "sweeter and better" with age and noting that the strength of their bond frequently moves her to tears.

“I promise you that I'll be the president of this country before you go,” Natasha told the elder statesman. “And I'll make you very, very proud.”

Concluding her tribute, she offered heartfelt prayers for her grandfather to reach the remarkable milestone of 150 years.
