He was rushed to a hospital, where he has been receiving treatment.
Sharing photos from his hospital bed, MC Oracle expressed gratitude to God for saving his life.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank the Almighty God for saving my life on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026, as I was shot by unknown gunmen,” he wrote.
“Man isn't a storyteller but I return all the glory to God because it could have been worse.”
The comedian did not disclose further details about the attack or the identity of the assailants.
MC Oracle’s account has since sparked concern among fans and colleagues, with many expressing relief over his survival and wishing him a speedy recovery.
