Nollywood Actor, Shan George Rejects Cosmetic Surgery Pressure, Say "I See God’s Beauty & Grace".

 

Nollywood actress Shan George has vowed not to succumb to societal pressure to undergo cosmetic surgery, saying she is comfortable with her natural appearance as she grows older.

The actress made this known while sharing new photos of herself and addressing people who criticise or shame others online for ageing.

Shan George said she would not allow comments about her appearance to pressure her into undergoing facial surgery.

She wrote:

“All of una wey dem dey send to come online to age shame pipu no fit get me, that una facial surgery ehn, I no go do am.

“When I look at myself in d mirror I see God's beauty and Grace. Una go see this my old age and talk Taya, I no send una papa. Make una mama go do am.

“My Shan Sugars love me like this. Ndi demon!c cosmetologist.”

She accompanied the post with hashtags including #teamnatural, #gwanovai, #sunshine and #Shangeorge.

The actress’ comments reflect her decision to embrace ageing naturally while pushing back against online criticism over changes in people’s appearances as they grow older.
