The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the players include Simon Moses, Akor Adams, Taiwo Awoniyi, Isaac James, Emmanuel Fernandez, Benjamin Fredericks, Moses Uzor and George Ilenikhena.
Others are Arthur Okonkwo, Alex Iwobi, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, Ademola Lookman, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Chibuike Nwaiwu.
Tolu Arokodare, Bruno Onyemaechi, Raphael Onyedika and Frank Onyeka complete the 20 players currently in camp.
The Super Eagles Media Officer, Promise Efoghe, told NAN that Wilfred Ndidi, Samuel Chukwueze and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali were expected to arrive around noon.
“Camp opened today, and preparations have commenced for the qualifiers,” Efoghe told NAN.
The Super Eagles will begin their qualifying campaign against Madagascar in Uyo on 25 September, before travelling to face Guinea-Bissau on 29 September.
Nigeria is also scheduled to play Russia in an international friendly on 6 October.
Efoghe said the team’s first training session would hold today, with the opening 15 minutes available to accredited media.
He added that all players would be available for exclusive interviews on Wednesday at the team’s base in Ikot Ikpene.
The exact time for Wednesday’s media engagements will be communicated later, according to Efoghe.
