Gospel music minister, Osinachi Kalu-Egbu, aka Sinach has opened up about her journey through marriage, motherhood and five years of waiting for a child, encouraging others not to let delayed expectations steal their joy.
Sinach
revealed that she married Pastor Joseph Egbu in 2014 at the age of 41. Despite
building a successful gospel music career, she faced questions about when she
would have a baby.
Rather
than allowing the pressure to define her, Sinach said she continued
ministering, writing music and worshipping God. She also focused on
strengthening her marriage and trusting God’s timing.
In
November 2019, at the age of 46, she welcomed her daughter, Rhoda, whom she
described as a symbol of joy and unexpected blessings.
Reflecting
on her experience, Sinach encouraged those waiting on God to remain faithful
and joyful, emphasizing that their worth is not determined by when they marry
or have children.
She says, “It’s
not about when things happen. It’s about who you trust while you wait,” she
shared.
Are you
currently waiting on God for something? What keeps your faith strong during the
waiting season?
