JMG Limited has strengthened its commitment to employee wellbeing with a breast cancer awareness session designed to promote early detection, encourage timely medical attention and equip employees with information to make informed decisions about their health.
Held as
part of activities marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2026, the session
featured Dr. Asishana Sanni, Group Head of Medical Services at NEM Health
Limited, who drew on more than 14 years of clinical experience to discuss
breast cancer, the importance of recognising potential warning signs and the
need to seek medical advice promptly.
Under the
theme “Every Story Is Unique, Every Journey Matters,” this year’s awareness
campaign underscores the individual experiences of people affected by breast
cancer and the importance of early diagnosis, appropriate care and
compassionate support. At JMG, the session provided employees with an
opportunity to engage with essential health information and better understand
how awareness can support informed health decisions.
Speaking
on the initiative, Gloria Ibeziako, Chief Human Resources Officer at JMG
Limited, emphasised the importance of access to reliable health information in
promoting personal wellbeing.
“Being
properly informed about our health is one of the most important steps we can
take towards protecting ourselves and the people we care about. At JMG, we
believe that creating awareness goes beyond sharing information. It is about
empowering our people with the knowledge and confidence to make informed
decisions, recognise when to seek medical attention and take their wellbeing
seriously,” she
said.
The
session was attended by employees both physically and virtually, enabling
participation across the organisation.
JMG
Limited provides electromechanical solutions and related services to businesses
across various sectors. Through initiatives such as this, the company continues
to promote a workplace culture that recognises employee wellbeing as an
